Ever Lasting Happiness

   Harry was laying under a tree in the orchard near the Weasley’s home, the Burrow. Harry was thinking of how to live his life now since Voldemort is no more. It’s been over a month since the death of Voldemort and his Death Eaters at Harry and his friends’ hands. It has also been over a month since Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape sacrificed themselves in order to help Harry and his friends bring about the downfall of Voldemort. Harry was still saddened by the death of his most hated rival and teacher. They died at Voldemort’s own hands in order to make the prophecy of Voldemort and himself come true. Harry started talking to himself out loud, “What is there to do now since Voldemort is no more and his loyal Death Eaters are all in Azkaban? Am I to live a normal life as a normal wizard…?” Harry closed his eyes and continues, “With my beloved Ginny…”

   Out of the blue, Ginny had apparated right next to Harry who was startled by her sudden appearance. “What are you doing Harry hiding from me?” asked an angry Ginny who stared at Harry. “I wanted to be alone for a bit to reflect on what has happened over the past few months,” said a still shocked Harry with Ginny still staring at him, calmly now. “Harry, I’m sorry for not listening to you and what you said to me at Dumbledore’s Funeral. I wanted to help you so badly that I could not have our relationship end or let you die at all,” said Ginny who sat next to Harry and started to cry. “It’s alright, Ginny. You did what you felt was right to do,” said Harry as he placed his hand on her shoulder. She then buried her face into his chest as he slowly wrapped his arms around her body.

   Harry then looked down and stared into Ginny’s teary eyes. They looked into each other’s eyes. “Ginny, will you always be at my side forever,” Harry asked. “I will, Harry, I will,” she replied with overwhelming joy. They moved their faces and their lips met. They kissed for what seemed like hours. They let themselves gaze into each other’s eyes until Ron and Hermione appeared to tell them that dinner was ready. They slowly got up from under the tree and hand in hand they walked back to the Burrow.
